Shaham to perform at London's BBC Proms

Last year Gil played 2 concertos at the BBC Proms (the World's largest annual music festival held in London's Royal Albert Hall) performing Samuel Barber's beautiful violin concerto with the BBC Symphony and then stepped in at the very last minute to perform the Berg Violin Concerto with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
It is GREAT news that he is back this year on September 1st returning with one of his very favourite orchestra/conductor pairings, Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, performing Bruch's ever popular violin concerto.
